Moved by the brutal killing of 8 year old Yug, Minister of State for Finance Rajendra Mulak visited Dr Mukesh Chandak, father of Yug at the latter’s house in Chhapru Nagar. While paying condolence over the big loss Chandak’s family had suffered, Mulak assured to take up Yug’s murder case to the Chief Minister and to demand fast track court to take up the case, Eight year old Yug was kidnapped and killed on September 1.
Yug was brutally killed by smashing his face with a boulder. This created a massive anger among the citizens and killers were nabbed by city police. The culprits are behind bars and the case is in court. However, Mulak assured that such brutal murders need immediate attention and he would take up the issue with Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan and demand setting up of a fast track court.

Mulak said Chandak family is still in deep shock and grief after he visited their Chhapru Nagar residence. Former minister Anees Ahmed, Mukesh Chandak’s father Ramanlal Chandak, Chandak’s father-in-law Jugalkishor Attal, Atul Kotecha, Sanjay Khode, Gopal Pattam and others were prominently present during the visit.
