Nagpur: Owing to heavy downpour on Thursday, traffic chaos was witnessed at major squares across the city as most of the traffic signals had gone dead.
In the instant case, traffic chaos was witnessed at the busy Baidyanath Square as the traffic signal got non-functional. The vehicle owners criss-crossing this junction found themselves in a spot as jams brought traffic to standstill. As the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) is situated very close to the spot, Nagpur Today found an ambulance in a hurry got stuck at the traffic snarl adding more woes.
The unruly auto-rickshaws and private buses added more problems to the chaos. The state of the chaotic situation persisted following the heavy downpour on Thursday, as no traffic cop was to be seen any time at Baidyanath Square.
