Nagpur: Sakkardara police have rounded up five men for allegedly duping a middle aged man to the tune of Rs 12 lakh on the pretext of selling a property between May 2016 and June 2016.

The accused have been identified as Mateen Khan resident of Bidipeth, Bunty alias Siraj Khan, Rajesh Pandurang Malboinwar both resident of Ramkrushna Nagar, Sanju Chanekar and Rahul Dahake.

According to the complainant Prakash Laxman Parate (50) resident of 18 A, Ayodhya Nagar, he met all the accused back in May 2016. The accused showed him a furnished flat and introduced themselves as owners. After Prakash showed interest in the flat, the deal was struck at Rs 22 lakh.

However when the accused did not give the possession of the flat and sought more time on the pretext of paper works, Prakash grew suspicious.
