Nagpur: Super star Shahrukh Khan’s latest magum opus is all to set to hit the screens in January 2017. The trailer that has been released is very interesting with SRK in a completely new avataar that will appeal to fans, one bets. Gone is the chocolate lover boy that SRK has played over and over again – he seems to have realized that he is now too old for such romantic roles.
Raees projects him as a mean and tough businessman that is sure to set tinsel town on fire.
There is only one problem – there is Pakistani actress called Mahira Khan in the lead female role opposite Shahrukh.
Looking to all the trouble Karan Johar had recently while releasing his movie ‘Ae dil hai mushkil’ vis a vis Raj Thakarey and MNS, SRK has played it safe by meeting Raj on his own and asking for his co operation. Which Raj seems to have promised on the assurance that Mahira will not be invited to attend the premiere in Mumbai.
This leads to one bruning question – does Shahrukh not believe in the present government’s capability of allowing his movie to be screened peacefully? Is Raj extorting protection money from stars under the guise of bonhomie and a casual meeting – asks former C.M. Prithviraj Chauhan.
In the promo of Raees we hear Shahrukh’s character saying ” dhande se bada koi mazhab nahi hota aur koi dhanda chota nahi hota.”
He seems to be living this motto in real life too.
