Nagpur: In an exclusive interview with Nagpur Today, Principal of Pundit Bachraj Vyas Archana Joshi said that the joint efforts of the teachers, the management and the hard work of the students alone helped the students in scoring meritorious marks.

NT: What would you like to say about this success of students?

Principal: I can’t express my feelings of how delighted it is for me. When I heard that the students of our school have topped in SSC examinations in the city, and is counted among one of the other schools which has topped in Nagpur, I was simply flabbergasted. One of the main reasons for the elation is also because we have lot of students belonging to poor families and when such students clinch such a meritorious result, especially in a time of tough competitions it is was really a great success and worth appreciating. All endeavors by our management, school authorities and teachers have yielded success.

NT: Do you feel it was joint efforts of the management, principal and the teachers?

Principal: We have bifurcated the students into two divisions. The first are those who are preparing for UPSC, MPSC or other competitive examinations. The second group consists of those students who want to seek normal positions in various industries and companies. We utilize all our excellent management skills in ensuring that our students spend a lot of time in practicing and revisions so that all their concepts and doubts are clear. They are put through many mock tests so that they are geared up for the final exams.

NT: Do you feel that the hard work of the students has brought laurels to the school?

Principal: Of course! We have proved that we too can bring about such excellent performance. We aspire to keep the trend and sustain such meritorious results in the region every year. The hard work of the students has helped them to bring honour to their parents, school, teachers and the principal.

NT: How many students got above 90%? What is your overall percentage?

Principal:  About 86 students have acquired 90% and the overall school percentage remained around 99.27 %, which is still a big achievement.

NT: What is your advice to the other students?

Principal: Now that they have made one step of success, and have created a history for Pandit Bachhraj Vyas Vidyalaya, I would want the students to continue their hard work and their future will certainly be bright.
