The 100th Convocation will be telecast live on internet
Nagpur: The 100th Convocation of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) slated to be held on September 26, 2014 will be telecast live on the internet.
Preparations are going on in full swing for the 100th Convocation of RTMNU. The long-awaited, much debated and discussed 100th Convocation will be held at University Grounds, LIT. A Shamiana with a capacity to seat about 3000 people is being set up at the venue. Acting Vice Chancellor Anoop Kumar is personally keeping a tab of the ongoing preparatory works at the venue.
While speaking to Nagpur Today, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of RTMNU Shyam Dhond informed that the preparations are going on in full swing. The invitation cards have been sent to all the guests. The entire University machinery is working round the clock to make the event a grand success. A cultural programme will also be organized in the evening after the convocation concludes. A musical extravaganza on the poetry of the renowned poets of Vidarbha will be presented.
Former President APJ Abdul Kalam will be the chief Guest of the 100th Convocation. Magsaysay Award winner Dr Abhay Bang will also grace the occasion. The varsity is leaving no stone unturned to make the big day a grand success.
