Aam Aadmi Party senior leader and founder member Prashant Bhusan has offered to resign from all party posts after Kejriwal did not give him time to meet to discuss his issues, the sources said.

Senior lawyer has written a letter to Kejriwal, offering to quit from all party posts, including from National Executive, if the issues raised by him were not dealt.

Issues are :

1. A strong mechanism for transparency in candidate selection in the party
2. Right to state units to decide about contesting elections in their own state
3. More involvement of volunteers in decision making process in party.
4. Mechanism for clean donation and expenditure details.
Senior leaders AAP leaders Sanjay Singh, Kumar Vishwas, Ashutosh and Ashish Khetan — all known to be Kejriwal loyalists — met Yadav on Monday night and held discussions on several contentious issues.

However, the efforts for rapprochement with Bhushan yielded no result as the senior lawyer refused to meet Kejriwal’s delegates. He said he would only meet Kejriwal, not his associates, to sort out his differnces.

“He (Khetan) had asked for a meeting this morning but I responded saying meeting you would not serve any purpose and I would like to meet Arvind,” Bhushan told a news agency.
