Nagpur: In a significant operation, the Social Security Branch (SSB) of the City Police dismantled a sex racket operating within Dream Saloon Family Spa located at Thakur Apartments, Tilak Nagar, Amravati Road, rescuing three girls who had been coerced into the flesh trade.
Law enforcement officials apprehended one of the pimps, Nirbhay Chandramani Balbir (25), a resident of Gittikhadan, while launching a search for two others, including the spa owner, Ravi Shahu (38) and Yash Kishor Katre (23), who are currently absconding.
The SSB received intelligence indicating the presence of a prostitution ring disguised as a massage parlor at Dream Saloon Family Spa. Subsequently, they deployed an undercover officer to confirm the operation of the sex racket. Upon verification, the SSB swiftly conducted a raid at the spa, resulting in the arrest of Nirbhay Balbir. During the raid, law enforcement officials seized cash and other materials valued at Rs 94,000.
A case has been filed against the accused individuals under pertinent sections of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act at Ambazari Police Station, marking a significant step in combating human trafficking and ensuring the safety of vulnerable individuals.
