PIGCE students celebrate PACE 2015

Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi college of Engineering organized their annual cultural event ‘PACE 2015’, which was fun-filled, and served as a learning experience for the students.

The purpose of this event was to motivate and showcase the hidden talent of the students. Chairman of LTJSS Dr. Satish Chaturvedi along with Secretary of the group, Abha Chaturvedi were present as chief guests. Principal Dr.GM Asutkar was also present.

All the university toppers and students placed in different companies were felicitated. Event included singing competition, dance competition and fashion show, the beginning to which was marked by auspicious song of Ganesh Vandana.

In the singing competition, the students sung songs in various languages that included Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, etc. In dance competition as well, the students excelled, and served a cause of spreading positive message about swine flu awareness.

Fashion show had three rounds. First round was a traditional one, wherein all girls were dressed in beautiful sarees and boys were dressed in kurta pyajama. Second round was themed on the casino and third was Bollywood theme, where students created awareness for blind belief. Prof.A.Gawarle and Prof.Ankush Deosant worked hard for success of program.
