Nagpur: In a hit-and-run incident, a pedestrian was knocked dead by unidentified vehicle in MIDC area on Tuesday night. The deceased Amarsingh Vistha (60), Plot No. 30, MIDC area, was returning home walking around 8 pm on Monday. As he reached near Sharda Weigh Bridge, Nildoh, an unidentified vehicle knocked him dead.
On the basis of a complaint, MIDC API Gaekwad has booked the unidentified driver under sections 279, 304(A) of the IPC and searching him.
