Nagpur: An unidentified pedestrian was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle in Hudkeshwar area here on Sunday night.
The unidentified pedestrian (aged about 40) was crossing the road near Hindustan Dhaba on Outer Ring Road around 8.30 pm on Sunday. At the same time, a speeding vehicle hit him and injured him seriously. The man was lying in pool of blood unattended and later died on the spot due to no help in time. The driver fled the spot after the mishap leaving behind his vehicle.
Upon being informed, a team of cops led by WPSI P U Bhuyar reached the accident spot and sent body of the unidentified pedestrian to a government hospital for autopsy. The unidentified driver has been booked and being searched.
