Nagpur: The Technology Club of Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Institute of Management Technology and Research organized workshop on the theme Socio Economic Applications of Emerging Technologies. Out of the total entries sent by the students 25 best were shortlisted for actual presentation in the workshop.
The event was Chaired by Shri Hemant Kalmegh, Executive Member of Shri Shivaji Education Society while the Chief Guest for the function was Shri Mohan Deshpande, Ex-Senior Accountant, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India.
The function was organised by Director Dr. Surendra Jichkar and Head of the Department Dr. Rajesh Timane. The workshop was organized by Faculty Co-Ordinator Mr. Shyamal Ruikar along with Student Co-Ordinator Shubham Acharya and Reeshabh Madankar. The whole event was conveyed by Ms. Priyanka Wandhe while the vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Shyamal Ruikar.
All the 25 shortlisted students were given Certificates of Excellence. The Third Prize of Rs. 3000 won by Ishika Zarbade of Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. The Second Prize of Rs. 5000 was won by Neha Shirke of DNC, Nagpur while the First Prize of Rs. 8000 won by Mrunal Tadas BCC, Mumbai.
The program was ably supported by all the student members of Tech-Club along with teaching and nonteaching staff of PDIMTR.
