The onset of Navratri was made extra special as Deepika Padukone’s look is out from the film and she looks drop-dead gorgeous. Personifying royalty, Deepika is doing full justice to her character of Rani Padmavati of Chittod.

While Deepika has already essayed regal roles like this one in her previous period films, we are sure that this one is going to be even more special as she has stellar actors like Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor by her side. Yesterday the logo of the film was launched on Twitter. In fact, the announcement was quite regal in its own way. The makers wrote, “रानी पद्मावती पधार रही हैं… कल सूर्योदय के साथ.” (Rani Padmavati is arriving tomorrow with the sunrise.) And true to their word, the three actors shared the first look, a little before 7 am.
