Nagpur: Domestic dispute took the fatal turn when a 20-year old boy attacked his drunkard father with knife and stabbed him to death. The cold-blooded killing was reported from Civil Lines area on Saturday night. The accused son has been booked under murder charge.
The domestic feud was running since long in the house of the victim Prosenjit Niharanjan Biswas (45), resident of Koyla Vihar Colony, WCL, Civil Lines, Nagpur. On Saturday (March 21) between 9.30 pm and 10.15 pm, Prosenjit returned home after gobbling a glass or two of liquor and started quarrelling with his son Akshay (20) and ousted him from house. Outraged by father’s action, the accused Akshay attacked him with knife and inflicted stab injuries on neck and chest. The deep stab wounds proved fatal and Prosenjit died on the spot.
Gittikhadan API Patil, based on information, booked the accused Akshay under Section 302 of IPC and probing the matter further.
