Now these children while filling the admission form under RTE quota will not be required to submit income certificate. The orphan children staying in NGOS will be able to study in good schools. The guardians of differently abled children will get a relief because of the government’s decision. In the city there are nearly 24 NGOs, out of these some a run by the administration while others are run by private agencies.

The orphan children would face great difficulty in getting admission and income certificate. Efforts are on so that children of the blind parents do not have to give income certificate under RTE. RTE Action Committee has been making efforts continuously for this. The RTE Action Committee said that from next year the children of the blind parents will also get the benefit.
