It is good news for students interested in research field. The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) will soon be conducting an online examination for engineering students interested in research activities. The qualified students will get a chance to work for DRDO.
Avinash Chander, secretary and scientific advisor to defence minister and director general of DRDO during his city visit informed that the examination will first be conducted for IIT and NIT students. After seeing the response, students of other engineering colleges will be included in this initiative. The permission of ministry of defence will be taken before conducting the examination.Apart from this, DRDO is also planning to set-up special centers at various universities to promote research activities
