Even as Nagpur has thick security cover with number of policemen patrolling almost all the roads, yet another murder occurred at hit opposite to Nasre Mangal Karyalaya, Rajapeth, Dubey Nagar falling within the jurisdiction of Hudkeshwar Police Station.
According to eye-witness and sources, the victim is identified as Sheetal Raut aged approximately 30 years. The deceased Sheetal Raut is said to be running a cloth store in that area.
Sources claimed that around 3-4 persons used an axe and heavy stone to kill him and to crush his head. The murder occurred at a spot which is hardly 20 meters from his cloth shop. The murder is said to have been committed at around 7:45 pm.
Till the filing of the story, the exact cause of the murder could not be ascertained. On being informed, the police officials of Hudheshwar had reached the spot and were still performing all the official formalities.
The way the crime graph of Nagpur is at the moment displays 94 murders till date. Will the criminals score a century till the end of this year remains to be seen.
