Nagpur: The Round Table India is a Young Men’s Club consisting of successful businessmen and professionals who strive to attain the key objective of community service specially focusing on building infrastructure for Educational Institution imparting education to underprivileged children. The office-bearers of Round Table India headed by National President of Round Table India Tabler Suman Voora utilize all their personal and professional contacts undertake networking of contacts to attain their aims and objectives. In a recent achievement for the Round Table India, the office bearers of Round Table India signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ministry of New and Renewable Energy to provide solar panels to all the schools that Round Tables of all the cities and states undertakes to build infrastructures.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Joint Secretary of MNRE, Delhi Tarun Kapoor and National Vice-President of Round Table India Manpreet Singh Raja. Those present on the occasion included National Solar Conv. Atul Luther, Area Chairman of Area 5 Ashish Gupta and Past Project Convenor Tushar Agarwal

MNRE appreciate the initiative of Round Table India to support the society by providing electricity through Solar technology in rural villages. Round Table India commits to initially adopt 2 villages – one each in Andhra Pradesh & Karnataka, preferably at a location around a school adopted/built by Round Table India, for providing energy access to households through adoption of renewable energy particularly solar energy.

MNRE agrees to extend its help to Round Table India by extending subsidies as per the guidelines under its Schemes. MNRE will also ensure coordination between RTI and the State Nodal Agencies responsible for development of renewable energy in the States. Round Table India Commits to perform its task of electrifying the villages through renewable energy (particularly solar) in collaboration with MNRE and the State Nodal Agencies.
