Nagpur: The disturbing incidents of minor girls going missing continue to rock the city as one more 17-year old girl went missing and has reportedly been kidnapped.
The complainant, resident of Mankapur, told police that her 17-year old daughter left home around 2.30 pm on Thursday for going to tuition class. However, the girl did not return home even after a considerable time. A search by the girl’s relatives at all possible places proved fruitless. Finally, a complaint was filed at Mankapur Police Station.
PSI Atram, following directives of Supreme Court that if any minor girl or boy goes missing then the case should be treated as that of kidnapping, has registered an offence under Section 363 of IPC and searching to trace the 17-year old girl.
