Nagpur News: A speeding autorickshaw hit motorcycle-borne men killing one and injuring other on Thursday late night under Wadi Police Station area. Cops arrested the ‘Killer’ autorickshaw driver.
Identity of deceased and the injured was yet to be established till filing of the report.
Police said, the Babu Annaji Pawar (35), a resident of Ambedkar Nagar, Control Wadi, lost control of his speeding autorickshaw (MH 40 N 5740) and hit a Discover Bajaj motorcycle (MH 40 AT 1720) in front of Gupta Pan Kiosk, Control Wadi. The motorcycle rider was killed on the spot while the pillion rider was injured seriously in the accident.

The injured was rushed to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (Mayo Hospital) for further treatment. However, he sustained serious injuries, the doctors informed.
Wadi police arrested Babu Pawar and registered a case under Sections 279, 338, 304 (a) of the IPC. Police are trying to establish the identity of the deceased and the injured.
