After a gap of four years when we saw her in Sanjay Leela Bhansli’s Gujarish, Aishwarya Rai faces the camera again for Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Jazbaa’ . This movie has been making news for several reasons. Not only is it Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s comeback film and will see an unusual cast but also there is speculation that it is a copy of a South Korean film.
In an interview to a tabloid, Gupta revealed the plot of the film where Aishwarya will play a lawyer and the male leade, Irrfan Khan a suspended cop. This is the first time the two will be paired together. Another first is John Abraham doing an important cameo. The plot of Jazbaa seems similar to a South Korean crime thriller titled Seven Days. While Gupta has admitted that he has purchased the remake rights of a film, he has refused to name the original movie. Bollywood sources report that Ash will do action sequences herself for this movie and has been working hard to get into top shape for the shooting.
After this film, a film with Karan Johar is also on the cards.
