Old enmity results in attempt to murder minor

Nagpur: In another unfortunate incident, four youth entered the house of a minor and attempted to kill him by stabbing. This incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Lakhadganj Police Station.

According to police sources, the victim identified as Shubham Ashok Mate aged 17 years and a resident of a house near Buddha Vihar, Old Mangalwari area, four accused identified as 1. Akshay Gote aged 19 years a resident of Old Mangalwari area, 2. Roshan Wanjari aged 20 years and a resident of New Bagadganj, Nishant Patil aged 22 years and Harshal aged 22 years forcibly entered into the house of the victim Shubham and attempted to murder the minor by stabbing him with a sharp edged knife. Shubham was critically injured in the attack and was rushed to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, the cops of Lakhadganj Police have registered a case under Sections 307, 452 and 3 along with Sub Section 4+25 against the accused.

It could be mentioned here that the elder brother of Shubham identified as Preetam Mate was arrested for gearing up to commit burglary.
