Official invocation for those willing to sell out their farmland

Nagpur: Karmveer Dadasaheb Gaikwad Swabhiman va Sabalikaran Yojana is being implemented by Maharashtra Government’s Social Justice Department with a view to provide farm-land to farm-peasants/ farm-workers who are landless, living below poverty line (BPL) and belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Nav-Buddh categories.

Under this scheme, those farm-land owners who are interested in selling out their productive farm-land should submit their applications along with the  documents, as, their consent-to-sale as per ready reckoner, 7/12 and 8 (A) documents showing ownership right, certificate of loan-free land and certificate of not becoming landless after sale of farm-land, to the office of Assistant Commissioner, Social Welfare, Administrative Building, Building No. 1, First Floor, near Udyog Bhavan, Civil Lines, Nagpur.
The official rate of purchase of farm-land will be Rs 3 lakh per acre maximum, said Assistant Commissioner in a press note.
