FIR lodged against residents of Nirmal Colony and plumber
Nagpur: A special team of Orange City Water (OCW) detected a major illegal connections being done by the residents of Nirmal Colony with a private plumber on the 400 mm main pipeline (Feeder main) of Nara ESR on Wednesday afternoon. On October 15, it was detected that Nara feeder main 400 mm dia damaged at Nirmal colony by resident of Nirmal Colony. After getting information OCW O&M team initiated action and personally visited site where they observed that people are ready for illegal connection. During discussion with the peoples it is also observed that in entire lane 8-10 houses no one has the authorized meter connection. Recently OCW detected similar kind of illegal connections from Jaripatka area Wherein, FIR against 3 consumers and plumber was registered. FIR against all these residents of Nirmal Colony and private plumber has been registered at the Jaripatka police station under relevant section for damaging the public property Act NMC —OCW appealed citizens if they found any such illegal connections activities they can contact OCW Toll free number: 1800 266 9899.
