Oct 15 polling day declared public holiday

Nagpur:
Government of Maharashtra, in view of polling for Assembly election, has declared October 15 (Wednesday) a public holiday. The public holiday is in accordance with the Notification No. 39/1/68/Judl-III dated May 8, 1968 issued by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India under Section 25 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and thereby in exercise of the powers entrusted to the Government of Maharashtra, said a press release issued by Deputy Secretary.
