OCHRI SMILE Dental Division organises camp at Hillfort School

Recently, OCHRI “SMILE” Dental Department organised a dental check-up and awareness camp at Hillfort Public School, Nagpur. Team led by Dr. Ramakrishna Shenoi, Maxillofacial Surgeon carried out a comprehensive dental check-up of more than 250 students. The camp was initiated with dental awareness talk, educating students about common dental ailments, especially stressing on tooth decay, dental caries/cavity and gum diseases and measures to prevent from them. The students were highlighted about the eating patterns and food choices which causes tooth decay. It is highlighted that not only OCHRI’s comprehensive super-speciality services but also; OCHRI Smile Dental Division has gained distinct goodwill in Central India.

On this occasion Dr. Ramakrishna Shenoi informed that “Most of the dental problems can be easily prevented by Brushing twice a day, flossing daily, eating properly and regular dental check-ups which are essential steps in preventing dental problems.”

Dr. Pareenita Fuke, Director & Ms. Preeti Vairagade, Principal, Hillfort Public School thanked TEAM OCHRI led by Dr. Anup Marar for rendering selfless service to the school children. Smt. Kavita Shah, PRO- Hillfort Public School coordinated this camp. This camp gave the opportunity to assess the oral health awareness among the students and learn about the oral hygiene practices which are of great importance in day to day life.
