Nagpur: Recently Mayor of Nagpur City Pravin Datke along with senior office bearer of NMC Dayashankar Tiwari and Sunil Agrawal had called upon meeting of various trade associations and NGOs to assist Nagpur Municipal Corporation in putting efforts to make Nagpur a smart city, whereby initial progress can be made by planting trees and also maintaining them.
A program to launch such posters was held at Hotel Pritam presided by Nagpur Residential Hotels Association (NRHA) president Prakash Trivedi, who welcomed Mayor Pravin Datke by presenting flower bouquet.
Tejinder Singh Renu, secretary of NRHA brought to the knowledge of Mayor that NRHA has collected funds from its members and donated 200 tree guards to NMC and furthermore prepared posters, which will be prominently displayed by all hotelier members in their reception encouraging citizens to plant trees.
Mayor Pravin Datke appreciated the activities carried by NRHA towards the cause and also enlightened the members of how NMC is carrying various activities in making Nagpur more greener and taking it step forward towards a goal of making it a smart city.
Prominently present in the program were NRHA Vice Presidents Inderjeet Singh Baweja and Dr. Ganesh Gupta, Joint Secretaries Deepak Pandey & Vinod Joshi; NRHA executive body members Vijay Jaiswal, Sanjay Agrawal, Nitin Trivedi, Ajay Jaiswal and Murtuza Fidvi.
