Now temple comes up in Name of Narendra Modi

Rajkot/Nagpur: Hours after reports and photographs of a temple in Narendra Modi’s were surfaced, the Prime Minister on Thursday expressed anguish over such a thing in Gujarat. Calling it shocking, Modi said that such a temple is against India’s traditions.
“Have seen the news about a Temple being built in my name. I was appalled. This is shocking & against India’s great traditions,” Modi tweeted.

Urging people to not indulge in such activities, he tweeted, “Building such Temples is not what our culture teaches us. Personally, it made me very sad. Would urge those doing it not to do it. If you have time & resources, please devote the same towards fulfilling our dream of a Clean India.”

The temple in Modi’s home state of Gujarat is ready and is scheduled to be made open to public on Sunday. The temple, situated in Kotharia village near Rajkot, has a bust of Modi and has been constructed using donations by his supporters. According to those associated with the temple’s construction, it took them two years to complete it.

Earlier, there used to be a small photograph of Modi but after he led the Bharatiya Janata Party to power at Centre in Lok Sabha elections, his supporters decided to build a grand temple and install his bust in it.

Modi is revered in Kotharia and several nearby village where people call him a reincarnation of god.
