The swashbuckling opener got engaged to his long-term girlfriend Sheethal Goutham at a private ceremony. He tweeted a picture of the happy couple on social media accounts saying, “‘And we are engaged! It’s official now!”
Uthappa is the latest to join the doubles club. Two weeks ago, Harbhajan Singh had exchanged wedding vows with actress Geeta Basra.
On Thursday it was reported that Yuvraj Singh had also been engaged to model Hazel Keech.
