Nagpur: William Shakespeare may have penned the iconic line – ‘What’s in the name‘ but this is proving to be contradictory in today’s times of communal disharmony tainting the religious fabric of India. Its all in the name now! With incidents of lynching in the name of gauraksha (cow protection) and growing intolerance towards each other’s religious beliefs, growing in proportion and frequency, the intellectual and rational activists of Nagpur have joined hands to appeal for peace and harmony.

Taking cue from the recent violent incidents targetting community, the members will be organising a unique drive named -#NotinMyName, at Samvidhan Square here on Friday at 3 pm.

The silent protest would be organised to voice concern against the people who kill and create violence in the name of caste, creed and religion.

The organisers have focussed on appealing the people to stop targetted killings. All the Nagpurians have been invited in the silent protest to be organised at Samvidhan Square, today at 3 pm.
