No Covid vaccination in Mumbai from Nov 4 to 7

Even as the Prime Minister asked exhorted officials to ensure that the country widens its COVID-19 vaccination coverage by the end of the year, Mumbai announces a break from vaccination.

The BMC, Mumbai’s civic body, announced that no vaccination will take place at government vaccination centres in Mumbai between November 4 and November 7 due to Diwali festivities. The vaccination will begin again on November 8.
