The Laboratory will meet the growing challenges of quality ensuring safety & environmental protection; Nagpur Metro being socially responsible and in compliance with its motto of “ Mazi Metro”.

It will test basic parameters and also carry out advanced tests for durability, chemical analysis, consultation on specialized areas and E & M Services. Apart from material testing, capacity of the Laboratory will also be developed to provide Technical solutions to complex construction problems.

Bureau Veritas core values include integrity and ethics, impartial counsel and validation, customer focus and safety at work.

Bureau Veritas set up a Material Collection Cell in May, 2016 for its prestigious Nagpur Metro Rail project. This was one of the unique steps taken by NMRCL for its vision to provide a safe, reliable, efficient, affordable, world class quality product, and environmentally sustainable rapid public transport system for the city of Nagpur.

Once the laboratory is fully functional, other infrastructure projects of other companies would also be undertaken for testing. Currently only one such lab exists in Central India making it cumbersome for them to get material tested from elsewhere; NMRCL would thus be making headway in pushing more advanced testing facilities providing solutions in high quality control in Central India for companies like NHAI and PWD in Nagpur through this state-of-the-art laboratory.
