NMC to organise Affordable Housing Property Expo from Jan 25 to 27 in city

Nagpur: The Municipal Commissioner Abhijit Bangar on Saturday said that a 3-day Property Expo will be organised by Nagpur Municipal Corporation in association with CREDAI from January 25 to 27. The event will be held at NMC premises in Civil Lines. Affordable housing projects being constructed by various builders will be on display at the Expo.

The Property Expo will mainly focus on the people belonging to Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Low Income Group (LIG). The Expo will give a wide choice of homes for the first buyers by different builders. In addition to this, the buyers will also get assistance regarding the home loans from various leading banks and financial institutions at the Expo

The Municipal Commissioner said that Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2015 with an aim that every family will have their own home. It will be a great opportunity for the buyers to know about various projects available where they can own their dream home as per their budget. The exhibition is being organised to make citizens aware about affordable houses and avail the PMAY subsidy up to Rs 2.67 lakh, Bangar said.

The Expo will have 30 stalls where builders will showcase properties from different locations and financial institutions will provide details on PMAY subsidy and home loans. The event will bring potential buyers and real estate developers on a single platform wherein the USP (Unique Selling Point) will be transparency and value. NMC will also have its informative stalls where visitors will get details of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The highlights of this Property Expo are that only sanctioned and RERA registered projects will be showcased in the Expo, Bangar stated.
