Nagpur: The dynamic feat of hitting the list of 40 top news websites the popular Nagpur Today achieved echoed in the General Body Meeting of Nagpur Municipal Corporation held on Thursday, June 1 with a thunderous applause.
As soon as the NMC’s General Body Meeting began at 11 am on Thursday, a greeting resolution (Abhinandan Prastav) was passed unanimously as per the tradition. The resolution also saluted Nagpur Today for its lively achievements amid continuous thumping of desks by members. The acclamation resolution was wholeheartedly supported by Deputy Mayor Deepraj Pardikar, Ruling Party Leader Sandeep Joshi, Leader of Opposition Tanaji Vanve, former Mayor Pravin Datke, Municipal Commissioner Ashwin Mudgal, Senior Corporator Chetana Tank and other Corporators, officials. After the proceedings of the House were over, former Mayor Datke personally congratulated the representative of Nagpur Today.
The NMC Administration will soon handover the copy of the resolution to Nagpur Today. During the discussion of the greeting resolution, it was specifically mentioned that Nagpur Today runs a special column for covering Nagpur Municipal Corporation reports.
