Nagpur: The 47th death anniversary of Karmavir Babu Haridas Avale was observed by Nagpur Municipal Corporation today (March 2). Senior Corporator Sandeep Sahare, and Assistant Commissioner Vijay Humne paid their floral tributes to the Kamal Square-based statue of Avale and remembered his contribution.
On the occasion, Samata Dal offered ‘Manvandana’ and Buddha Vandana. President of Baby Haridas Avale Vichar Prabodhan Vinayak Jamgade, Bhante Nagdeepak Shraddhashil, member of Deekshabhoomi Smarak Samiti Vilas Gajghate, Lahanuji Bansod, Dr Bankar, Rajkumar Vanjari, Ramesh Dhavle, Naresh Patil, Yogesh Gaekwad, Waghmare and other prominent persons were present.
