Nagpur: Picking up preparation for upcoming Nagpur Municipal Corporation elections, the political parties have now started zeroing in on the prospective candidature. Going further BJP will start distribution of candidature forms from December 16. The forms will be made available till December 25.
BJP Nagpur City President and MLA Sudhakar Kohle informed that the forms will be made available upon payment of Rs 500. Duly filled forms need to be deposited along with Rs 2000 in cash or cheque. If there is any issue regarding the forms, the aspirant may contact general secretary Sandeep Joshi, Sandeep Jadhav, Kishore Palandurkar and organisation secretary Bhojraj Dumbe.
While the announcement has perked up the activities in the local party circles, it will be interesting to witness how many prospectives would queue up to secure their candidature.
