NMC inspects 13377 houses in various areas as special drive to prevent Dengue spread

The Health Department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) on Monday, as a part of its special drive to prevent spread of Dengue disease, inspected 13377 houses in various areas. Of the 13377 houses inspected in Airport area, Surendragarh, Manavseva Nagar, Maa Bhagawati Nagar, Mhalgi Nagar, Ajni, Police Line Takli, Chaitanya Nagar, Shaktimata Nagar, Mominpura, Barse Nagar, Kumbharpura, Gondpura, Bharat Nagar, Lashkaribagh, 238 houses were found breeding Dengue mosquito larvae. 157 house owners were served notices following finding of mosquito larvae frequently, said a press release issued by NMC.
