Nagpur: A workshop on Goods and Services Tax (GST) was organised jointly by Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Contractors’ Association at Mahal-based Town Hall.
The main speaker of the programme was Deputy Commissioner (GST) Sunil Lahane. Additional Municipal Commissioner Dr Rizwan Siddiqui presided over. Others seated on the dais include Deputy Commissioner Ravindra Deotale, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jayant Dandegaonkar, Assistant Commissioner Mahesh Dhamecha, Chief Engineer Vijay Bangirwar, Superintending Engineer Deepak Sontakke, President of Contractors’ Association Vijay Naidu, and CA Arti Kulkarni.
Lahane threw light on finer points of GST through a presentation. He also removed many of the doubts and difficulties expressed by the Contractors’ Association. Lahane answered to the questions posed by the gathering satisfactorily.
