NMC Anti-encroachment Squads remove encroachments in many areas

Nagpur News : Today enforcement department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation took action in Hanuman Nagar, Zone 3 falling under Ajay More and Prashant Nehare, the zone office falls under Ambare and Kakde. The area covered in this drive was Tukdoji Putla to Medical Square, TB ward to Medical Square, Krida Square to Insurance Square.  Small shops in this area which had caused encroachment like tea stalls, chicken centres, funeral material shop, snack shops etc. were removed. The police personnel who participated in the drive were Tarun Yadav, Laxman Dhote, Vinod Singh, Rupesh Makone and Yogesh Kature.

Lakkadganj zone 8, Rahul Rokde , Sunil Dumane are the officers concerned in the area. The concerned junior engineer was Yavalkar. The are covered in the drive was Bhavan to Garden, Harihar Mandir to Purana Naka. Vaishnodevi Square to Wardhamanagar to Ambedkar Square. The cost of drive of Rs 6500/  was charged to the parties involved. Police personnel who participated in the drive were Pandey, Vijay Dubey, Nitin Tiwari, Mohd Sheikh and Antakala Bagde.

The other area covered by drive is under Waman Bhalawi. The  area was Badkas Square to Gandhi Square, Chitar Oli. The small cloth shops which had caused encroachment were removed. Some more areas were Yeshwant Stadium, Panchsheel Square, Canal Road, Ramdaspeth, Kachipura Square, Bajaj nagar Square and Dikshabhumi Square. The police personnel who were part of the drive were Pradeep Bhaise, Vithhal Talmale, Bhaskar Hanumante, Madhukar Katole, Chitrasen Gajbhiye and Pranoti Kakde.

Other areas of Nagpur covered under anti-encroachment drive are under Rameshwar Nandanwar. The areas were Lakkadganj Water Tank to Wardhamannagar, Pardi naka to main road to Sunil Hostel. The cost of the drive of Rs 1500/- was recovered from the encroachers. The small shop keepers like chicken shops, tea and snacks stalls etc were hit by the drive. The names of police staff are Rameshwar Tiwari, Nimvijay Dhote, and Dhiraj Korde.
