NFC won the Meghe Super Division title

Nagpur Football Club have won the Meghe Super Division title in football, beating Young Iqbal 1-0,in the finals of Meghe Super Division League 2013-2014, organized by Nagpur District Football Association (NDFA) at SECR’s Motibagh ground on November 10, 2013.
Looking to get off to a winning start, Nagpur Football Club started on an aggressive note and opened their account through Shushant Bhivgade in the 88th minute of the play. The Young Iqbal defenders were not able to recover from the initial jolt wherein the NFC players enjoyed superior possession of the ball in the midfield and tested the Young Iqbal defenders with their quick feet work and exquisite skills.
In the Prize distribution function, the winning team NFC awarded with Rs. 75000/- and Runner up team awarded with Rs. 35000/- by Nagpur District Football Association. Also, Best Goal Keeper Salman Atif of NFC awarded with Rs.15000.Shushant Bhivgade of NFC has been declared ‘Man of the tournament ‘ and awarded with Rs. 15000/- wherein Mohd. Yasin of Young Iqbal was declared as best player of YC and awarded with Rs. 11000. The Emanuel Okayo of NFC was declared ‘Man of the Match’ for his stunning performance in the final match and awarded with Rs. 15000. Also, Emanuel Okayo received the special prize of Rs. 21000/- from Sameer Meghe.
Teka Football Club pipped Noor-e-Islam 2-0 to record their victory in Jawaharlal Darda Memorial Second Division Football Tournament organised by Nagpur District Football Association in association with Lokmat Media Pvt. Ltd. at Ajni ground on November 10, 2013.
In the very fourth minute, Mohd. Arshad opened the account for Teka FC through excellent goal followed by Mohd. Raza in the 39th minute. During the proceedings, match referee cautioned Mohd. Imran of Noor-e-Islam in the 65th min.
In another tie, ONFC beat Qamar FC 5-0 . Mubashshir (31st min) , Piyush (44th ,57th & 62nd min) and Mizammil (65th min) scored the goals for ONFC.
In first division tournament at Police Line Takli ground, Young Iqbal drubbed Nagpur Western 2-1. Imran Parvez (9th min) , Nasim Khan (71st min) scored one goal each. During the proceedings, match referee cautioned Mohd. Ehtesham of Iqbal (80th min) for his rough tackle and Abdul Karim of Nagpur Western in the 70th min.
Playing on home home turf, IFFC defeated Rahul Academy 1-0. Vijay Pal in the 23rd min was the architect of victory. Yellow cards were shown to Ankush Rathod in the 7th & 55th min with red card , Mukesh Dhurya in 49th min and Mangesh Thakre 53rd min from IFFC and Vasel Charlie in the 53rd min of Rahul Academy.
