Nagpur: In a significant boost to rail connectivity between Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will flag off a new Rewa–Pune weekly express train on August 3. The service is expected to enhance travel convenience for commuters from Nagpur and other key cities across both states.
The train will connect major cities including Pune, Daund, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia in Maharashtra and Balaghat, Nainpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, and Rewa in Madhya Pradesh.
Designed to cater to both reserved and unreserved passengers, the express will provide a fast, secure, and comfortable journey for people traveling for work, family visits, or other purposes across this key regional corridor.
Train Schedule:
- Train No. 20151 (Pune–Rewa Express): Departs Pune every Thursday at 15:15 hrs, arrives Rewa on Friday at 17:30 hrs.
- Train No. 20152 (Rewa–Pune Express): Departs Rewa every Wednesday at 06:45 hrs, arrives Pune on Thursday at 09:45 hrs.
Major Halts Include:
Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia, Balaghat, Nainpur, Jabalpur, Katni, and Satna.
