NET date postponed to June 30

The date of The National Eligibility Test (NET), held by Universities Grants Commission (UGC), scheduled earlier on June 26 has been postponed and now will be held on June 30. The Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has submitted 8975 application forms of candidates to NET Department.

The first paper, based on General Knowledge with 100 marks, would be held from 9 am to 10.45 am on June 30. The second paper, based on specific subject with 100 marks, would be held from 10.45 am to 12 noon. The third paper, based on specific subject with 150 marks, would be held from 1.30 pm to 4 pm on the same day.

The General Category students, to pass the exam, must secure 40 per cent marks in the first paper, 40 per cent marks in the second paper, and 50 per cent marks in the third paper. The OBC Category students must secure 35 per cent marks in the first paper, 35 per cent marks in the second paper, and 67.5 per cent marks in the third paper in order to pass the exam. And the PWD, ST, SC students must obtain 35 per cent marks in the first paper, 35 per cent marks in the second paper, and 40 per cent marks in the third paper.
