Nagpur: A 5-year old girl was reportedly raped by a 22-year old boy on Wednesday night. The boy has been booked.
According to police, the girl was raped by the accused neighbour Sandeep Marotrao Kamble (22) when she went to play in his house around 9-9.30 pm on Wednesday (November 12). The rape came to the notice of her mother when the devastated girl returned home.
Pachpaoli Senior PSI Mokashe, on the basis of a complaint lodged by the girl’s mother, has booked the accused Sandeep Marotrao Kamble under Section 376 of the IPC and Sub-Sections 7, 8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act 2012. Further probe is underway.
