NEET topper Suhani Jain wins pride of planet named after her!

Nagpur: Nagpur chi mulgi Suhani Jain has managed to hit the marquee this fresh season of NEET. Suhani has not only earned name for herself and her mentoring institute ICAD but also brought a degree of honor for the city as well. She scored 592 marks in the recently declared NEET 2018 results. During her competitive stint, Suhani also faced various other competitions held at International Level where she earned many prizes including a prized possession. As her winning token, a planet has been named after her name -‘Suhani Jain 34021’.
Nagpur Today caught up with Suhani Jain and tried to dug out the secrets of her success as well as her future course of action.

Q. How did you decide on taking medical as a career?
A. My interest in Medical grew when I started traveling abroad for various competitions. I interacted with people on numerous occasions.
Q. What were your strategies while studying?
A. I was always an early riser, so I used to study in morning time and followed a 3 hour time slot in which I constantly studied for 3 hours and then I used to take a break.
Q. In which competitions you took part?
A. Apart from regular classes, I have been to many International Competitions and in one of the competition I was one of the finalist in 2017 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, MIT, in which a planet is named as ‘Suhani Jain 34021’. Besides, I have also cleared Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) – a National Program of Fellowships in Basic Sciences, and The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research exams respectively.
Q. Which college have you aimed for?
A. I am looking forward to seek admission in Grant Medical College, Mumbai
Q. Did you take any coaching?
A. Yes, I took coaching from ICAD as Physics was always a problem for me but with regular practice and guidance of the teachers who relentlessly helped me in my exams, I overcame that problem. One should give regular test series.
Q. Any Tips and suggestions for aspirants?
A. Follow a disciplined strategy for your studies and enjoy your studies. Do not panic while studying as it will create problems and one would loose their concentration.
