Nagpur: NCP MP and Sharad Pawar’s daughter Supriya Sule was on Monday was injured during a ‘Rasta Roko’ agitation. A minor scuffle took place while she was being arrested by police and Supriya suffered injury to her hand.
The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) had taken out ‘Halla Bol’ padyatra and at the entry point of city, the party resorted to ‘Rasta Roko’ agitation against BJP government’s policies. Supriya Sule was peacefully staging the agitation but police tried to arrest her. In the ensuing scuffle, she received injury to her hands.
Police have arrested other NCP leaders Anil Deshmukh, Anand Paranjape, Sandeep Bajoria, and many other office bearers along with Supriya Sule.
