NCARTS-13 Conference held at GH Raisoni College of Engineering

Nagpur News : An interdisciplinary National Conference on Advanced Research Trends in Sciences (NCARTS-13) was recently organised by the first year engineering department of GH Raisoni College of Engineering. The conference was inaugurated by pro-vice chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University Mahesh Kumar Yenkie who was present as the chief guest recently.

Dr Yenkie in his key note address expressed concern over today”s lifestyle.

Researchers have to think differently in various fields like energy sector for alternate resources, interdisciplinary sciences could bring about miracles, he believed.

Dr Yenki further stated that Inquisitive reasoning has to be inculcated amongst the students and researchers.

The reason why developed countries are ruling the world economy with their patents is due to their expertise in Basic Sciences.

Dr Yenki quoted a Japanese saying “Earth has been taken on loan and has to be returned with interest”, underlining the need for uniform development and concern for environmental sustainability.

Dr Yenkie concluded by saying that a united and prosperous India will keep all external aggression at bay and all endeavours in research should be towards national progress.

He congratulated all delegates present and declared the conference open by releasing the souvenir of NCARTS.

Dr Yenki was felicitated on becoming the pro-vice chancellor of RTMNU by G H Raisoni College of Engineering.

Professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, Dr Ajit Kulkarni, urged young minds to explore new things as discoveries in Science can still be made.

Dr K K Dhote informed the house about the availability of the incubation centre facility at corporate office of Raisoni Group.

Dr Bajaj, director GHRCE, conceded that the present conference was aimed at promoting and giving a platform for all faculties to update their knowledge in their research fields.

Dr B P Butey, convener and Dr S B Jaju, dean Research and Development also spoke on the occasion.

On the second day of the conference, chief guest of the valedictory function Dr K C Deshmukh, inaugurated the poster exhibition. Pro-vice chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University Mahesh Kumar Yenkie, professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, Dr Ajit Kulkarni and Dr Preeti Bajaj along with other dignitaries present at the National Conference on Advanced Research Trends in Sciences organised at GH Raisoni College of Engineering in the city recently.
