Nagpur: In yet another killing, Naxalites shot dead a youth, the second one in two days, in Patagudam village of Sironcha Taluka. The Maoists on Sunday night had killed a youth in Gaderi of Etapalli Taluka. The deceased youth had been opposing liquor sale in the village. Continuing the killing, the left extremists shot dead another youth on Monday night calling the victim a police informer. The deceased has been identified as Santu Gorgonda. The two kiilings in two days has set panic in Gadchiroli district.
On Monday evening, a group of 10-12 armed Naxalites barged into the house of Santu and took him outside the limits of the village. Later, they fired a barrage of bullets on Santu killing him on the spot. The extremists suspected Santu a police informer. The role of Sironcha Area Dalam in the killing is being surmised.
On Sunday night, a youth named Sobu Jogi Gota too was gunned down in Gaderi village.
