Gadchiroli/Nagpur: The Naxals have killed a villager of Sodegaon in Dhanora Tehsil of the Gadchiroli district suspecting him to be a police informer.
According to report, late at night on Wednesday, Naxals entered the house of one Suresh Tofa woke him up from the sleep and took him outside the house. Soon after this the Naxalites brutally killed him with an axe. Naxalites suspected Suresh was a police informer and had been informing the police about their movements.
After carrying out brutality they put up as banner in the village which read Suresh as informer and further stated that the persons informing police will punished in a similar manner. On Thursday morning when the villagers came out of their houses they found Suresh’s body and the banner.
It may be mentioned that in the last two days the Naxalities have killed three persons in the Dhanora tehsil. This has terrorised the people in the tehsil.
