Green Heaven Institute of Management and Research, Nagpur, in association with Department of Commerce, RTM Nagpur University is organizing a National Workshop on Research Methodology from 22nd February to 28th February 2015. The workshop is being held to strengthen the research orientation among Faculty Members and to prepare the PhD scholars for the challenges they have to face during their research process.
The workshop will be held in the premises of Department of Business Management, RTM Nagpur University, Near Law College, Amravati Road, Nagpur. Prominent scholars in the field of academic research will be the resource persons for the workshop. The workshop will comprehensively cover the research process, beginning from the basics of research to the use of latest analytical tools like MS Excel and SPSS. The workshop will cover theoretical as well as practical aspects of the research. Dr Ananta Deshmukh, Head, Department of Commerce and Business Management has appealed to the teaching fraternity and PhD scholars to make use of the opportunity and attend the workshop.
Dr T. Kalyani, Director of Green Heaven Institute of Management and Research, Nagpur is the Coordinator of the workshop and informs the subtopics to be taken during the workshop. They are, Basics of Research and Research Design, Literature Review, Basic Statistics and Sampling Techniques, Questionnaire Designing, Hypothesis Testing, Data Analysis through Excel, Hypothesis Testing with SPSS, and Interpretation of Results and Report Writing.
The workshop is beneficial for all those interested in research and specifically to the PhD Scholars, as it is mandatory for them to attend atleast two such workshops before submitting their final thesis.
