    National Conference on Cardiac Imaging & Clinical Cardiology in city from Aug 8 to 14

    Nagpur News: The 9th national annual live meet on Cardiac Imaging and Clinical Cardiology “ECHO NAGPUR 2014” will be held from August 8 to 10, 2014 in city.  A press conference in this connection was organized att Tilak Patrakar Bhavan. The inauguration function will be held on Saturday, August 9 in Hotel Radisson Blu at 12.30 pm. Some fun filled events for the registered doctors will also be held and a mega musical night on the same day.

    Dr Bijoy Khanderia Dr Mahesh Fulwani Dr Shantanu Sengupta Weissman_N (1)Nagpur Echo Summit & Cardiological Society of India, Vidarbha Chapter will host eminent international speakers like Dr. Neil Weissman (USA), Dr Bijoy Khanderia (USA), Dr Partho Sengupta (USA), David Adams (USA) and national speakers like Dr J C Mohan (New Delhi), Dr. Manish Bansal (Gurgaon) and Dr Nitin Burkule (Mumbai). Over 300 delegates from across India and abroad have registered and will be attending the meeting. The meeting will focus on case based discussion with an opportunity for all delegates to have direct interaction with the faculty.

    On August 8, there is an exclusive Pre Conference Workshop on Basics and Advanced Echocardiography. This programme is unique and the participants will have hands on experience on this advance modality. In this workshop, named as “E-Pathshala,” there will be 80 delegates on 40 laptops learning echocardiography step-by-step with the masters.

    An important objective of the conference is early detection and prevention of heart disease using state of the art noninvasive imaging modalities.  Heart disease is a global health problem with no geographic, gender or socio-economic boundaries.  Despite the tremendous advances in cardiac care been made recently, many patients continue to die or live with significant morbidity.  Cardiac imaging forms an important tool in early diagnosis of heart disease. This meeting will focus on case based discussion with an opportunity for delegates to have direct interaction with the faculties.  This programme is unique because of its translational theme, informed Dr Mahesh Fulwani & Dr Shantanu Sengupta, Programme Directors of this mega conference, in the press conference.
